HARP Update

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has released an updated health table for the Hot Spots Analysis and Reporting Program (HARP) Air Dispersion Modeling and Risk Tool (ADMRT) and Risk Assessment Standalone Tool (RAST).  A minor correction has been made to the health table for oleum (8014-95-7).  The chronic respiratory target organ flag was inadvertently turned on for oleum.  Because oleum does not have a chronic REL, this caused random characters to appear in the risk results for oleum.  This change does not impact the health table for the Emission Inventory Module (EIM).

To get the new health database, select the “Help > Check for Updates” feature in the main menu of the ADMRT or RAST.  This feature will automatically download and update the health database.  Once downloaded, restart the program to use the new health database.

Please note the health databases contain health values for pollutants that are currently listed in the Emission Inventory Criteria and Guidelines.
