HARP Update


The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has released updated health databases for the Hot Spots Analysis and Reporting Program (HARP) Air Dispersion Modeling and Risk Tool (ADMRT), Risk Assessment Standalone Tool (RAST), and the Emission Inventory Module (EIM).  The new health databases include a new cancer inhalation unit risk factor for cobalt that was adopted by the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) on October 2, 2020.  

To get the new health databases, select the “Help > Check for Updates” feature in the main menu of each program.  This feature will automatically download and update the health databases.

If the server prevents the automatic download, you can manually install the new health databases using the link below.

Please note the health databases contain health values for pollutants that are currently listed in the Emission Inventory Criteria and Guidelines.
