Senate Bill 375 Sustainable Communities Program Public Workshops

Sustainable Communities Strategy Evaluation Guidelines


The California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board) staff will host a public Workshop/Webinar on December 12, 2018 to seek public input on development of the Senate Bill 375 (SB 375) Sustainable Communities Strategy (SCS) program evaluation guidelines. In January and early February 2018, CARB staff hosted four public workshops on proposed SB 375 greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction target updates, and the initial concepts on the SCS Evaluation Guidelines. In June 2018, CARB hosted four public workshops on the proposed review guidelines framework and overview

The workshop will be held at the Sacramento location and date shown below. Stakeholders and the public can also participate through the Fresno and Los Angeles satellite locations.

At this workshop, CARB staff will solicit stakeholder feedback on the SCS evaluation framework, information exchange process (i.e., technical methodology, data submittal), and guidance on approaches for quantifying GHG emissions reductions from potential strategies. The Draft SB 375 SCS Evaluation Guidelines as well as the presentation slides will be available prior to the workshop.

We encourage your participation and look forward to your input. Comments and feedback received from this workshop will be used to revise the SCS evaluation guidelines and release the final document by the end of the year.
