Joint Subgroup Meeting - July 2018
The California
Air Resources Board is announcing a joint Dairy and Livestock Subgroups meeting
to be held in July 2018. Three Dairy and Livestock Subgroups were formed last year to develop policy recommendations in specific areas: fostering markets for non-digester emissions reduction projects (Subgroup #1); fostering markets for digester emissions reduction projects (Subgroup #2); and research needs, including enteric fermentation (Subgroup #3).
The purpose of the joint meeting is to provide an
opportunity for the Subgroups to share material covered over the last year in
individual meetings and recommendations that the Subgroups have developed for
promoting methane reduction strategies at California dairies and livestock facilities. The meeting is
open to the public and the specifics are outlined below:
