Port of Oakland Phase I Rail Improvements Oakland Army Base (OAB) Community Information Session

Please join Port of Oakland representatives at a Community Information Session on the Phase I Rail Improvements project currently planned for the former Oakland Army Base.

The last few weeks have seen a great deal of momentum for the development of the former OAB property, including a recent federal transportation grant award for the Port rail project.  We would like to share updates on this important initiative and hear from local residents and businesses.

Representatives from the Port look forward to the opportunity to share details and solicit feedback about the specific phases of the Port development, including:

- Phase I Rail project status and development timeline

- Port policies in place to maximize benefits for local residents

- Policy enhancements the Port may consider for future development phases

- Next steps
