A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled as follows:

Bid Due Date:  Wednesday, May 31, 2017  Bid Due Time: 10:00 a.m.

The work of this 120 calendar day project consists, in general, of furnishing all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment, transportation, services and supervision required to complete the Demolition of Pump House No. 3 and Storm Drainage Improvements at the Oakland International Airport, including, but not limited to:  demolishing and removing the pump house and other related storm drain items; excavating; backfilling; grading; installing 36-inch storm drain pipe and fittings; installing flared end section with rock slope protection; installing safety railing; and performing all associated work, including temporary work, all in accordance with the Contract Documents.  

This project is set aside for certified Small Business Enterprises (SBEs).  SBE certifications will be acceptable from all bonafide SBE certifying agencies, including, but not limited to, the following agencies:  Port of Oakland - SBE or VSBE, City of Oakland - SLBE, AC Transit - SLBE, Alameda County – SLEB, Small Business Administration - 8(a), Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) – SBE and California Department of General Services (GSA) – SB or Micro Business (MB).  Only bids from certified SBEs will be accepted and proof of certification must be submitted with the bid in order to be qualified as an SBE for this project.
