Below is today’s Operations
Update from the Port of Oakland. Street wait times are based on field
observations by the Port’s wharfingers as of 09:00 this morning and do not
reflect turn times within the marine terminals. Conditions at the
terminals are dynamic and subject to change. For the latest information
or if you have questions, check with your Marine Terminal Operator, Logistics
Provider and/or Ocean Carrier.

Effective June 9th, no
K-Line Chassis will be allowed into OICT. Per K-Line, please return all
chassis to U.P. Railroad.

24; PAOHT receiving for export cargo is FIVE business days prior to vessel
ETA.
Effective Tuesday 9/8 PAOH
will no longer accept Yang Ming empties. Contact Yang Ming Lines for direction
on where to divert.
There are currently no (or
very few) containers at PAOH in unavailable locations. Please do not ask for
exemptions or extensions on containers when appointments were not made
according to the PAOH appointment policy.

Appointments at PAOH fill up
quickly. We send out daily broadcast notifications announcing vessel
arrival and expect that appointments will be made within 48 hours of the
broadcast notification or drivers will run the risk of running into
demurrage.
- Please do not contact us about
extending free time for appointments that were not scheduled within 48
hours of discharge or becoming available.
- PAOH will not extend free time.
Free time extensions are authorized by the Steamship Companies.
Containers in 6A, 6B,
5C, 5A, 7E, 4E, 4J, 4M, 4N, 6F, 3A, 3T, Non - IFF containers in 5K, 3D and
containers showing Ship>Yard are in unavailable locations. If you have a
container in the above locations, they are not available for import
appointments. The containers will be shifted to available locations. Once the
container is moved, the LFD will be updated to correspond with the next
available appointment date.

STS Oakland now operates up
to four trans-tainers to deliver from:
C1, C2, C3,D2, and D3 based
on appointments which are reviewed at 13:30 each day for the next.

BACP only good for Cosco, Hanjin, Maersk and Zim
Please be advised that
Evergreen requests empty dry containers be returned to the Terminal from which
they were picked up as import loads. If you have any questions please
contact Evergreen directly at 972-764-1330.
Free time for decked import
containers will not be extended if no appointment is made to pick them up
within the first three business days of their being available for one.

Please be advised this morning, gate processing is at
a minimum due to slow filling of labor from the hall. We’re expecting all
labor arriving by 0800 AM. However, anticipating gate velocity will be affected
as some who may be unfamiliar to our gate processing/system.
Please be advised, TraPac Oakland is out of 20' & 40' BACP chassis'
Please bring your own chassis' when picking up an import or empty today.
