Across the country, National Adoption Day is celebrated every Nov. 20, when adoptive families are recognized, celebrated and some foster families finalize the adoption process. Each year, Placer has an average of 150 children in foster care. This Adoption Day, 10 Placer families will finalize their adoptions. Meet some of the families 

On Nov. 10, the Advisory Redistricting Commission voted to recommend four supervisorial redistricting alternative maps to our Board of Supervisors to consider for final approval.
