Seasonal burn suspensions have been lifted

Burn Ban lifted

CAL FIRE Nevada Yuba Placer Unit’s and North Tahoe Fire Protection District’s seasonal burn suspensions have been lifted for the year. Keep in mind, burning may still be restricted periodically to help preserve air quality and reduce wildfire risk on windy days. Before you burn, check placerair.org/burnday or call the Placer County Air Pollution Control District. Remember that only dry vegetation such as leaves, pine needles and tree trimmings may be burned; trash, painted wood or other debris cannot be burned. Learn more
