Placer County residents age 50 and above are eligible for COVID-19 vaccination. With the help of our partners, more than 200,000 doses have now been administered to Placer County residents (including more than 50,000 at the county clinic as of last week). Learn more and see appointment availability

Free rideshare service coming to North Lake Tahoe

This summer, North Lake Tahoe residents and visitors will have a new microtransit rideshare service available through Placer County’s Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit. The Board of Supervisors authorized investing transient occupancy tax funds to implement this free, on-demand service as a pilot program all summer. Learn more

County jobs website is updated regularly

Check out Placer County's employment website for a list of open positions, including internships. Job seekers can apply for positions and sign up for job alerts to be notified of openings. Those without internet access can use a computer kiosk in the Human Resources Department's lobby, at 145 Fulweiler Ave., in Auburn.
