Emergency Rental Assistance

Placer County is accepting applications for emergency rental assistance through April 30 at renthelpplacer.com. Income-eligible households who are unable to pay for rent and utilities because of COVID-19 are encouraged to start the application process now. Learn more

Placer reaches new high in community-led wildfire prevention efforts

Heading into the 2021 fire season, Placer County still has one of the largest networks in the state of Firewise USA Communities. Growing to over 17,000 households in 62 official Firewise Communities in 2021, with 62 more communities at various stages of formation, Placer County stands prepared for wildfire. Learn more
