COVID-19 update from Placer County's health officer

Placer County Health Officer Dr. Aimee Sisson spoke to our Board of Supervisors Tuesday to provide an update on COVID-19 and efforts to prepare our community’s health care system for a potential surge in cases. County health officials urging individuals refrain to from nonessential travel

As the State of California and Placer County work to slow the spread of COVID-19, our health officer is providing clarification about the operation of short-term rentals in North Lake Tahoe and elsewhere in the county. Based on the Governor’s Executive Order, Health Officer Dr. Aimee Sisson urges short-term rentals to cease all commercial operations.
