Hidden Falls Park: Know before you go

CalFresh expansion bringing more food benefits

As of June 1, older adults and people with disabilities receiving Supplemental Security Income, or SSI, may be now eligible for CalFresh food benefits. Learn more


Highway 49 construction begins June 17

Caltrans will begin construction on a $40.5 million project along State Route 49 in Auburn starting Monday, June 17. The project, which stretches 4.4 miles from the Interstate 80 interchange to Dry Creek Road, will rehabilitate the pavement and upgrade pedestrian and bicycle facilities. Read more 


Kings Beach Western Approach project

Placer County will host a community meeting June 18 in Kings Beach on the proposed Kings Beach Western Approach project. The project is intended to improve connectivity between west Kings Beach and its downtown core. Learn more
