Placer moves toward smoke-free government campus

The Placer County Board of Supervisors directed staff Tuesday to move forward with a proposal to modify the current county smoking ordinance and make the Placer County Government Center in Auburn a smoke-free campus with interim designated smoking areas. Read more

Solar customers can enroll early with Pioneer to take advantage of lower rates

Pioneer Community Energy will begin enrolling solar customers starting September 2018. Solar customers interested in taking advantage of Pioneer’s lower electric rates do not have to wait to enroll. Learn more


TART summer services start today

TART will begin summer operations today with expanded night service hours, free-to-the-rider bus service on the Truckee local route and a $10 summer youth pass on regional routes. Learn more
