PG&E awards $2 million in wildfire prevention project grants

Local California Fire Safe Councils, including three in Placer County, have received grant funds to reduce the increased risk of wildfires due to massive tree mortality. California has declared a state emergency as bark beetles continue to infest and kill drought-ravaged trees, increasing the risk of fire. More information
