 New CEO announcement
Peninsula Clean Energy’s board of directors have selected Shawn Marshall as the agency’s new chief executive officer (CEO), effective July 1. COO Shawn Marshall succeeds Jan Pepper, a pioneer who is retiring after leading the agency to prominence over the past 7 years as the CEO since our inception in 2016.

 Youth Climate Ambassadors
Congratulations to this year’s graduating class of Youth Climate Ambassadors (YCA)! Peninsula Clean Energy provides annual funding for this eight-month Leadership Program that provides 9th-12th-grade students in San Mateo County with the opportunity to deeply explore social and environmental issues contributing to the global climate crisis. 64 students graduated from the program this year!

 Los Banos customer savings tops $1M
In April 2022, Peninsula Clean Energy began offering clean electricity at lower costs to Los Banos residents. Since then, Los Banos customers have saved over $1 million on their energy bills and are enjoying access to Peninsula Clean Energy customer offers and rebates!
