If you have an electric water heater, you can get $1,500 or more in rebates by upgrading to a modern, efficient electric heat pump water heater (HPWH). You can save thousands of dollars on water heating.*
Peninsula Clean Energy is offering a $500 rebate on top of a $1,000 rebate from the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN). In total, you can receive $1,500 or more to replace your electric water heater. CARE/FERA customers can get an additional incentive of $1,000.
