Study shows EVs cost less to maintain
According to the Office of Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Electric vehicles (EVs) cost significantly less than gas vehicles to maintain.
The estimated scheduled maintenance cost for a light-duty battery-electric vehicle totals 6.1 cents per mile, while a conventional internal combustion engine vehicle totals 10.1 cents per mile. Over the life of a vehicle, this can amount to significant savings.
We created an EV resource page to make your transition from gas-powered to an electric vehicle seamless. On that page you can find a list of numerous incentives and tax credits, learn about the different types of EV chargers, and more!
