April California Climate Credit
This month, all Californians will receive their California Climate Credit. The credit will show on your monthly PG&E bill as “CA Climate Credit” or “California Climate Credit”. Climate credits are distributed twice a year, in the spring and fall.
You are receiving this credit as part of California’s Cap-and-Trade Program, and no action is required. If you have questions, we encourage you to visit the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) FAQ page.

Spruce Up Your Garden With Electric Tools
Electric tools can benefit more than just your yard. Gasoline-powered yard care equipment is noisy, polluting, and puts your health at risk. According to the California Air Resources Board, using a gas mower for an hour emits as much pollution as driving 300 miles in a gas car, and using a gas-powered leaf blower for one hour is comparable to a 1,100-mile journey!
Consider sprucing up your garden with electric yard care equipment instead. They are just as powerful, plus they are quieter, easier to maintain, and emit zero pollutants. To help with the switch, SVCE is offering $50 off electric lawn mowers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, and trimmers through the Appliances Assistant.
