Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet directly with employers, submit resumes, learn about available positions and potentially land an interview on the spot.

Come prepared

A little preparation can go a long way.

Before you head out the door:

• Update your resume and bring extra copies to hand directly to employers.
• Prioritize the companies you want to meet and research them.
• Dress for the opportunity and treat your conversations with recruiters like an interview.
• Be ready to introduce yourself. Know how you’ll quickly explain your experience, skills and what type of opportunity you’re looking for.
• Be patient and confident. Popular employers may have lines, but a worthwhile conversation can be worth the wait.
