Build valuable skills through our free Entrepreneurial and Workforce Readiness Workshops
My office is partnering with Golden West College and local community organizations to offer the Entrepreneurial and Workforce Readiness program, a free opportunity for students to gain practical skills, explore career options, and prepare for what comes next.
Participants will take part in interactive sessions focused on financial literacy, workplace preparation, and long-term planning. They will also hear from professionals, learn about a variety of industries, and discover scholarships and resources that can help support their education and career goals. Lunch will be provided each day.
Workshops will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from July 27 through August 13, from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Community partners include Junior Achievement of Orange County, Orange County United Way, the cities of Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, and Huntington Beach, the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce, and other local organizations.
