 The special election is here -- don’t forget to vote
Registered voters should have received their ballots for the upcoming special election on Prop. 50. I encourage everyone to go out and vote.
If you have not received a ballot, please notify the Registrar of Voters at 714-567-7600 or ocvoter@ocvote.com to receive a replacement ballot.
Mail was recently stolen from a postal service truck in Huntington Beach. Ballots in that neighborhood were cancelled by the Registrar and replacement ballots were sent out to affected residents.
The last day to register to vote for this special election is Oct. 20. You can mail the ballot, drop it in an official ballot drop box or turn it in at a vote center starting Oct. 25.
All ballots must be postmarked by election day on Nov. 4 to be counted.
