 Orange County’s upcoming budget hearings
The 2025/26 Orange County fiscal year budget is YOUR budget.
The Board of Supervisors will be discussing this during our next meeting on June 10 beginning at 9:30 a.m. We’d like you to be involved, so please consider attending to discuss with us any concerns.
As a taxpayer advocate, my goal is to provide needed services to our residents while eliminating wasteful spending. Orange County is the sixth largest county in the country and our new budget is expected to be $10.9 billion.
It’s challenging to balance such a large budget every year, but I am confident we will be successful. We currently have a AAA credit rating which reflects our strong fiscal outlook.
The County is also sponsoring a virtual workshop today from 3 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 7 p.m. on the Teams platform. Please visit cfo.ocgov.com/public-workshop to register.
