Meetings are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 303 E. B Street. Meetings are broadcasted LIVE online, click "Watch OntarioTV" and our local cable Channel 3.

CLOSURE: Memorial Day
 City Facilities will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day.
Here’s what to expect: • Trash and recycling will be picked up one day later than usual for the rest of the week • Street sweeping will not occur on Monday, May 25 • Parking enforcement for street sweeping will also be paused that day • Regular street sweeping and parking enforcement will resume the following Monday. • Ontario Municipal Utilities Company (OMUC) Service Desk will be closed. • Ovitt Family Community Library will be closed Sunday 5/24 and Monday 5/25.
Police and Fire services will remain available 24/7.
National Peace Officers’ Memorial Day
 May 15th marks National Peace Officers’ Memorial Day. Memorial Day—a day dedicated to remembering and honoring the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The Ontario Police Department would like to recognize:
Officers Bernard Green, Louise Delisse, Russell Grower, and Richard Hyche who paid the ultimate sacrifice, losing their life in the line of duty.
These officers profoundly impacted our community through their selfless service and unwavering dedication. Their sacrifices underscore our commitment to our collective values and the principles of our profession. We extend our deepest respect and condolences to the families and friends of these courageous individuals. As we mourn their loss, we stand united with all law enforcement agencies that have experienced similar losses. Let us remember our fallen heroes and allow their legacy to inspire continued service, professionalism, and valor.

Citizen's Academy 2026
 Curious about what it’s like to serve in law enforcement? Join the Ontario Police Department for a FREE 12-week academy designed just for the community.
Through exciting demonstrations, hands-on scenarios, and engaging presentations, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how the department operates and serves Ontario.
Participants will learn about:

- Air Support Unit
- Investigations
- C.E.T. Division
- Forensics

Youth Academy
 The Ontario Police Department is hosting a Youth Academy—a fun and FREE educational program for teens ages 12 to 17.
Classes will take place every Wednesday from June 3 through August 12, 2026, from 6 to 8 PM.
Participants will gain a better understanding of law enforcement while learning about the impact of their choices and the importance of accountability. Topics include:
- Forensics
- SWAT
- Narcotics
- Bullying prevention
- Traffic safety
- Gangs
- K-9 Unit
- Internet safety
- Patrol
- Leadership and respect

Ontario residents can take advantage of several water-saving programs and rebates. Visit the Ontario Municipal Utilities Company Programs and Rebates page to learn more about the options available.

 Lived-in: Creative Practices Shaped by People & Places features artwork from eight artists across Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, and the Coachella Valley. Through paintings, sculptures, and installations, the exhibit highlights how everyday life and local communities inspire creativity.
These artists don’t just create art—they give back by teaching, advocating, and creating welcoming spaces where people can connect and express themselves.
Together, the exhibition shows how art reflects real-life experiences and brings communities closer through shared stories.
