Construction of Well 43
The City's Water Master Plan contains an infrastructure improvement program that identifies the need for additional wells to pump groundwater to meet the future water demands of Ontario Ranch. Ontario Ranch, per a previous agreement, agreed to fund the design and construction of three wells. Well 43 is the third and final well to be completed; it will provide approximately 11.5 acre-ft. of water per day. Construction for this project started in Fall of 2021 and will be complete in Fall of 2022.
