OC San is proud to announce the release of its 2024/2025 Annual Report, marking another year of significant achievements and milestones. The report was unveiled at the 2025 State of OC San event on October 17, held for the first time at the agency's new, state-of-the-art Headquarters.
Driven by our Mission, Powered by Innovation, the report highlights OC San's continued dedication to protecting public health and the environment through safe collection, treatment, and recycling of approximately 185 million gallons of wastewater each day, serving 2.6 million residents throughout Orange County.
Among the year’s notable achievements is the launch of RISE (Resource Innovation for a Sustainable Environment), an umbrella program that unites a portfolio of projects from the past, present and future advancing cutting-edge wastewater treatment, including Supercritical Water Oxidation and Biosolids Deep Well Injection. These projects position OC San at the forefront of environmental sustainability.
Additionally, over the past year, OC San has invested $245 million in critical infrastructure improvements and achieved AAA financial ratings for the 15th consecutive year. This remarkable achievement underscores OC San’s commitment to fiscal stewardship and dedication to maintaining affordable rates for the community.
