Announcement
We are taking a break from our monthly feature project section to share an important announcement. OC San, Contracts and Purchasing Division has partnered with OpenGov and will be transitioning to a fully automated web-based electronic solicitation and vendor management system.
To ease into the rollout, OC San will begin releasing solicitations within OpenGov in two distinct phases: Starting on July 1, 2025, all new goods and services solicitations will be released in OpenGov, and then on January 1, 2026, all Public Works, design, architecture and engineering projects will move over into the system.
There is absolutely no cost for contractors or suppliers to register or utilize OpenGov.
Within the coming weeks, OpenGov will be sending out an email requesting to activate your account, so please be on the lookout for that.
Alternatively, you may subscribe to OC San's solicitations by navigating to https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/ocsan and clicking the "Subscribe" button. For more information about how to register, please see the help file, which is located here: https://opengov.my.site.com/support/s/topic/0TO8X000000Mhi0WAC/vendor-guides.
Additionally, OC San and OpenGov will be hosting an in-person and virtual training on the vendor portal, showcasing how to complete solicitations within the system. This is scheduled for Thursday, June 19th from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.– 2:30 p.m. These will be held at OC San’s Headquarters Board Room, at 18480 Bandilier Circle, Fountain Valley, CA 92708. The virtual training will be conducted on Thursday, June 26th from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. via Microsoft Teams.
Please email Purchasing@ocsan.gov to register for these trainings by Wednesday, June 18th for the in-person session, and Wednesday, June 25th for the virtual training. Please include attendee name, phone number, email address, company name, date, and time slot for the requested training.
The training material, as well as additional information, will be updated on the Doing Business with OC San page on our website, which is located here: www.ocsan.gov/doingbusiness.
