OC San has a strong, forward-thinking Strategic Plan that guides our agency’s priorities and long-term success. Every two years, we refine this foundation to ensure we remain at the forefront of environmental stewardship, innovation, and operational excellence.
The 2025 Strategic Plan is now in development, with the OC San Board of Directors leading the effort to fine-tune our existing framework. This update builds upon the 15 key policy areas already in place, ensuring we continue to:
- Strengthen climate and catastrophic event resiliency
- Enhance water quality by managing constituents of emerging concern
- Optimize infrastructure and easement management
- And more…
To reinforce this solid foundation, we have two Board of Directors’ workshops to review and refine policy areas, ensuring alignment with our mission. The first one took place on March 19 and the second one is scheduled for April 16.
The final 2025 Strategic Plan is scheduled for adoption in November 2025 and will be available at www.OCSan.gov. Stay tuned as we continue to strengthen our vision for the future!
