Buck Gully Reserve awaits!

Discover the natural riches of the Buck Gully reserve. This 1,200 acre coastal canyon sits between Newport Coast and Corona del Mar, serves as habitat to native flora and fauna species, and provides many outdoor recreational opportunities. Explore over 3 miles of self-guided trails or join volunteers from the Irvine Ranch Conservancy on a docent led tour. It's nesting season.

Spring has sprung and as we get ready to hop along collecting eggs filled with candy and treats, it's a good time to remember many birds are also nesting. Help birds by delaying your tree trimming until the fall, keeping dogs on a leash on trails and beaches, and securing cats indoors and away from nests.

The 7th Annual Mayor's Egg Race from 10 a.m. to Noon on the Civic Center greens. Hop on over for bunny photo ops, egg races, inflatables, train rides, and more.

The Camp Newport Early Bird Discount deadline is May 5. Sign up before the end of the day to receive a 10% or more discount on most camps.

Friday, May 13

Join us for our first Movie in the Park of the season featuring Disney's Luca at Marina Park. Bring family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy fresh air, free popcorn, candy, and activities with food available for purchase. The event begins at 6:45 p.m. with the movie starting around dusk. Remember to bring a chair, blanket, or towel.

Stop by the OASIS Senior Center from 9 to 11 a.m. for the return of our Health & Wellness Resource Fair. Enjoy a complimentary breakfast, vendor fair, lecture, and class demo.
