Ford GoBike Adds Ebikes in San Francisco
Ford GoBike is giving riders a new way to power up hills and ride for longer distances by adding pedal-assist ebikes to the bike share network in San Francisco. The new ebikes, branded as Ford GoBike Plus, can be unlocked via your Clipper card and docked at any station in the city. Ford GoBike is the first bike share system in North America to incorporate ebikes alongside classic bikes at its stations. MORE

Ford GoBike and BART Offer Free Month of Bike Sharing
To celebrate Bike to Work Month, BART is partnering with Ford GoBike to offer free one-month bike share memberships. Riders who sign up will get unlimited 45-minute rides and 24-hour access to bikes, including the new ebikes in San Francisco, for 30 days. MORE

Third Eastbound Lane on Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Opens
Caltrans opened a long-awaited third eastbound lane on Interstate 580 to accommodate peak-period traffic from San Rafael to Richmond. The new lane typically is open to traffic each day from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The opening of the lane marks a major milestone in the multiyear project along the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, which will also include a bike lane on the upper deck. 511 Now Available on Amazon Devices
The Bay Area’s 511 traveler information system has integrated two of the most popular 511 features – traffic conditions and real-time transit departure times – with Amazon’s virtual personal assistant, Alexa. Bay Area travelers can now get this information on any Alexa-enabled device, including an Echo, Dot or Tap. MORE

Video: Regional Measure 3
On June 5, voters in all nine Bay Area counties will decide on a $4.45 billion package of congestion-relief projects known as Regional Measure 3. If approved by a combined majority of all voters, these projects would be financed by an increase in tolls on the Bay Area’s seven state-owned toll bridges.
