Just Released: Proposed Revisions to the Draft Plan Bay Area 2040 and the Final Environmental Impact Report

Staff has released the proposed revisions to the Draft Plan Bay Area 2040 and the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR). Both documents may be reviewed at 2040.planbayarea.org/reports.

The proposed final Plan incorporates numerous changes made in response to public comments received following the March 2017 release of the Draft Plan Bay Area 2040. Comments submitted on the Draft Plan Bay Area 2040 are available for review here. Comments submitted on the Draft EIR can be reviewed here.

Policymakers will discuss both documents this Friday, July 14, at a joint meeting of the MTC Planning Committee and the ABAG Administrative Committee. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Bay Area MetroCenter, 375 Beale Street in San Francisco. To review the meeting agenda, visit planbayarea.org/get-involved/meetings-and-events. The full Commission and the ABAG Executive Board are slated to meet together on the evening of July 26 to vote on the final Plan and the final EIR.
