- The Senior Center will be closed on Tuesday, March 31, in observance of Cesar Chavez Day. Normal business hours resume on Wednesday, April 1. The Senior Nutrition Program will be serving lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31.

First Aid Basics
Thursday, March 5 at 1 p.m.
The City’s Aquatics Coordinator welcomes you all to a First Aid Basics Workshop! This hands-on session will teach you essential first aid skills, from handling minor injuries to responding in an emergency. Learn practical techniques that can help you feel more confident and prepared in any situation. Please note the session is for informational purposes only and does not provide a certificate. 55+ welcome.

A Healthy Smile for a Healthier You
Thursday, March 19 at 1 p.m.
Join Foothill College dental students to learn about the connection between oral health and overall health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and rheumatoid arthritis. Additional topics include common dental concerns, including toothaches or abscesses, and when it’s important to see a dentist. 55+ welcome.

Fire Life Safety
Thursday, March 26 at 1 p.m.
Join us for a Fire Prevention Workshop hosted by Fire Inspectors with the Mountain View Fire Department. Learn essential tips on protecting your home, including kitchen fire safety, using a fire extinguisher and smoke alarms, planning your escape, holiday safety, and home safety. Take advantage of this opportunity to gain life-saving knowledge from experts in your community. 55+ welcome.

Indoor Dining
The Community Services Agency’s Senior Nutrition Program offers dine-in meals in the Social Hall of the Mountain View Senior Center. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., sign-in starts at 11 a.m., and lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The Social Hall closes at 1 p.m. A $5 donation is suggested for permanent residents 60+ of Santa Clara County.
Lunch service is first come, first served and availability is not guaranteed.

Movies are shown on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1 p.m. and on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. Join us for a screening in Multipurpose Room B.
Please note: Seating is limited to 36, and spots are available on a first come, first serve basis. When available, captions are provided.
Also, remember to dress warmly or bring a lap blanket, as the room tends to be on the cooler side.

 Having trouble with your iPad or iPhone? Schedule a 30 minute appointment with a volunteer, available Thursdays in March from 1 - 3 p.m. in the Counseling Room, to get your questions answered. Pre-registration is required.

 AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers will provide free tax preparation and e-filing for low-to moderate-income taxpayers.
Now until April 9, Wednesday and Thursday appointments will be held at The View Teen Center (263 Escuela Ave.) from 9 - 11 a.m. Pre-registration is required and can be booked by visiting or calling the Senior Center Front Desk at 650-903-6330.

 Senior Adult Legal Assistance (SALA) offers free legal services at the Senior Center on the first Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. for Santa Clara County residents aged 60 or older. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited.

 Free Grocery pick-up is the first through fourth Tuesday of each month, 8:30 - 10 a.m. Pre-registration is required. For more information, visit the Front Desk or stop by during program hours. Operated by the Second Harvest Food Bank.

 Free blood pressure screenings will return Friday, March 13 and Friday, March 27 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in Multipurpose Room A. No registration required.
