Back by popular demand, we are pleased to offer an additional Plant Exchange event on Saturday, Aug. 30. We received many requests to schedule this popular program more than once a year, and we are excited to now offer events in spring and summer months.
On the day of the event, bring your plant donations to the bookmobile garage from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and swap with other gardeners from your community. All types of plants are welcome, including seedlings, cuttings, houseplants, plants in containers, shrubs, and small trees. We will provide forms where you can list information about your plants. You do not need to bring a plant in order to take a plant. No registration required.
Want to get some gardening tips before coming to the Plant Exchange? Learn about the Top Ten Habits of Successful Gardeners on Tuesday, Aug. 12 with Master Gardener Mint Pasakdee, who will provide tips on creating healthy soil, using a seasonality checklist, making plant selections, using appropriate weed and pest controls, and more.
