Watch Mountain View's 2025 State of the City

Over 200 people attended the inaugural event at the Mountain View Community Center

Thank you to everyone who attended the City of Mountain View's inaugural State of the City. Over 200 community members enjoyed the free civic event, which was held Wednesday evening, May 21, at the Mountain View Community Center.
 
With a theme of “Building the Mountain View of Tomorrow,” Mayor Ellen Kamei and City Manager Kimbra McCarthy showcased recent City accomplishments and initiatives that advance the City’s strategic priorities. They also shared updates on the City’s financial outlook; efforts to advance housing, sustainability, and active transportation; and actions that support Mountain View being a “Community for All.”
 
The State of the City was streamed live and is currently available to view on the City’s YouTube channel, YouTube.com/MountainViewGov.
 
In addition, the program will air on Mountain View City Television, Comcast cable channel 26, and AT&T U-verse, channel 99, at the following dates and times:
  • Wednesday, May 28 and June 4, 12-1 p.m.
  • Friday, May 30 and June 6, 7-8 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 31 and June 7: 7-8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 3 and June 10: 12-1 p.m.
