Dear Southern Marin Friends and Neighbors,
Happy Earth Day!
Each year, Earth Day reminds us of the vital connection between a healthy planet and healthy people. Here in Southern Marin, we are fortunate to live among stunning natural beauty—and it’s up to all of us to help protect it for future generations.
This Southern Marin Scoop newsletter is full of opportunities to celebrate and take action. From inspiring Earth Day Changemakers at the Mill Valley Community Center to eco-friendly fun at the Tam Valley Community Center and Zelinsky Park in Tiburon, there are meaningful events for everyone.
You’ll also find details on an Eco-Friendly Garden Tour, and a wonderful family-friendly celebration at McInnis Park hosted by Marin County Parks and Open Space.
Whether you plant a tree, attend a local event, reduce your plastic use, or help a neighbor compost—every action counts. Let’s all chip in to nurture a healthier, greener community and planet.
All my best, Stephanie
