Twelve (12 ) new murals celebrating Manteca now adorn the exterior wall of Security Public Storage at Crestwood Ave and Lathrop Rd. Mayor Gary Singh attended the Manteca Chamber of Commerce Dedication event Wednesday, May 31, 2023. There he presented a proclamation expressing the City's appreciation for the project. Praising both these murals and others across the city, Mayor Singh celebrated the diversity they represent.
Located at Crestwood Avenue and Lathrop Road, the murals truly brighten the city and tell a story of Manteca's history, celebrating the contributions of community members and regional establishments like the Haggin Museum.
The murals cover 3,300 square feet and run 330 feet along the Security Public Storage's eastern wall. The murals were designed by Jerry Ragg who was inspired by the community support he received. This represents the 14th mural project commissioned by Security Public Storage.
There are now 38 outdoor murals in the City of Manteca. Collectively they celebrate our regions history, diversity, and family fun community, making a Mural Tour one of Manteca’s most valuable tourist attractions.Click to edit this placeholder text.
