The renovation of the former Manteca Bowl by Bowlero Corp. has brought a new sense of fun and excitement to evening entertainment for the City of Manteca. The new facelift, sports bar, arcade, billiards area, seating, and food options are incredible. The Manteca Bowlero is the outgrowth of a movement to change the bowling experience for everyone.
Tom Shannon set out to revolutionize the bowling industry in 1997 with the purchase of Bowlmor Lanes in Manhattan. His bold vision for upscale evening entertainment soon sparked new locations across the US.
With the 2013 purchase of AMF Bowling Centers, Bowlmor became Bowlmor AMF and expanded to hundreds of locations across America.
One year later, in 2014, Brunswick Bowling Centers were also acquired, uniting two historic rivals for the first time and launching the new Bowlero brand. Today Bowlero Corp. is a global media company and the largest owner and operator of bowling centers in the world. With their partners Fox Sports and the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA), their team is over 8,000 strong. They control over 12,000 lanes and have more than 28 million guests per year visiting their centers.
