Project Pulse: Downtown MB

We invite you to join the City of Manhattan Beach for an important Community Meeting on Wednesday, May 21 at 6:00 PM at the Manhattan Heights Park Community Center (1600 Manhattan Beach Boulevard).

This meeting will focus on the future of Lot 3 and the recently acquired property at 400 Manhattan Beach Boulevard, located at the southeast corner of Manhattan Beach Blvd and Morningside Drive.

Why This Matters:

  • Lot 3, a central downtown parking structure, has been closed since last summer. In response, the City is creating 152 new parking spaces through downtown improvements and a reimagined single-level Lot 3, offering more spaces than before.

  • 400 Manhattan Beach Boulevard, formerly the U.S. Bank site, was acquired by the City on April 15, 2025. We’re exploring options to transform it into a space that serves our community—whether through public gathering areas, needed services, or thoughtfully planned development that supports long-term municipal sustainability.

This is your opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, and help shape the future of our downtown.
