Water Update in Downtown Manhattan Beach

The construction team at the Lot 3 site is using large amounts of water to control dust, which is stirring up natural minerals in our pipes.

⚠️ WATER UPDATE: Some customers in the downtown area may experience discolored water due to ongoing construction work at Lot 3. The construction team is using large amounts of water to control dust, which is stirring up natural minerals in our pipes.

If your water looks brown or cloudy:

  1. Avoid doing laundry
  2. Run cold water for 5-10 minutes
  3. Try again after an hour if needed

The water remains safe to drink. We've already reduced water flow at the construction site to help minimize this issue.
