City of Manhattan Beach's Summer Camp Guide
Discover summer magic at Parks & Recreation! Our signature REC Camp delivers daily adventures plus optional field trips throughout the season. Beyond REC Camp, explore our specialty programs: splash in aquatics, catch waves in beach & surf, create in arts & ceramics, design anime or fashion masterpieces, build robots, dance like a rockstar, master chess, cook like a celebrity chef, or score touchdowns in Flag Football.
With tot programs for our youngest and everything from tennis to theater, we've crafted the perfect summer experience for every child's passion. Make this summer unforgettable!
Registration for residents begins March 3 at 6 am (online) and at 8 am (in-person)
Registration for nonresidents begins March 17.

Juneteenth Listening Session
The City of Manhattan Beach hosts a Juneteenth Listening Session on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Manhattan Beach Library Community Room.This event, moderated by Janet Broady Allen (MBUSD), invites the community to learn about Juneteenth's significance and share ideas for the 2025 celebration.

Utility Box Beautification Project - Call For Artists
Help transform Manhattan Beach! The Cultural Arts Commission invites local artists to participate in Phase III of our Utility Box Beautification Project. Selected artwork will be showcased on utility boxes throughout the city, creating vibrant public art that enhances our community. Open to South Bay Beach Cities residents, with a special youth category for artists 17 and under. Selected artists receive a stipend.
Deadline: March 31st
Youth Category: Ages 17 and under (or 18 with proof of high school enrollment)
