The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) conducts an annual homeless count across Los Angeles County every January. This count allows stakeholders to receive official statistics of what homelessness looks like in our community.
The City will once again host a deployment site for the 2025 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count at the Joslyn Community Center at 1601 N. Valley Drive on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from approximately 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM. The City is grateful for the community's continued support of this event.
On the night of the count, volunteers can arrive as a team as they count homeless individuals in Manhattan Beach. The City has previously hosted deployment sites at Joslyn Community Center for the county-wide 2018 - 2020, and 2022-2024 Homeless Counts.
LAHSA is looking for volunteers to assist with conducting Manhattan Beach’s homeless count. The public is encouraged to sign up and participate. To sign up, go to: theycountwillyou.org.
