In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, City offices will be closed
Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24

Wednesday, November 22, 2023

City Hall is open for normal business hours. 

Inspections requested by 3:00 PM will be scheduled for Monday, November 27.

Inspections requested after 3:00 PM will be scheduled for Tuesday, November 28.

Scheduled inspection times are on the Daily Inspection Schedule at Citizen Self Service (CSS) by 6:00 PM the business day prior to the date of the inspection.

Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24  – THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY

EMERGENCY SERVICES: NORMAL OPERATIONS

Street Sweeping: There will be no residential street sweeping on Thursday, November 23, and the service will not be made up.
Refuse Collection: Residential refuse collection will be delayed by one day. Therefore, Thursday's residential route will be collected on Friday and Friday's residential route will be collected on Saturday, November 25.

City offices: Closed Thursday and Friday

Construction: Construction is NOT allowed on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.
No inspections conducted.

Begg Pool: Closed Thursday, November 23 (exception Begg Pool Masters 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM). Friday, November 24 open 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Joslyn and Manhattan Heights Community Centers: Closed (OASIS at Joslyn Community Center will be open on Friday, November 24 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.)
Sand Dune: Closes at 12:00 PM on Thursday, November 23. Normal business hours on Friday, November 24.

Tennis/Pickleball: Drop-in play until 5:00 PM on Thursday, November 23. Normal reservations on Friday, November 24, courts close at 5:00 PM. (Please note on Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 26, the Pickleball courts at Manhattan Heights Park and Manhattan Beach Middle School will be closed due to the 3rd Annual Pickleball Turkey Tournament)

Manhattan Beach Art Center and Live Oak Park Ceramics Studio: Closed Thursday, November 23.

FIRE STATION 2 RIBBON CUTTING & OPEN HOUSE

Please join the City of Manhattan Beach as we unveil Fire Station 2! Guests can tour the facility after the ribbon cutting ceremony and enjoy light refreshments.

WASTEWATER RATE CHANGE

Reminder to residents, new Wastewater Rates began November 1, 2023, but will not be reflected in utility bills until January 2024.
