myCalSTRS account before August 29
Starting August 29, your myCalSTRS account will have limited services while we prepare to upgrade the portal. From September 9–23, myCalSTRS will be unavailable.
If you receive a monthly CalSTRS benefit payment, we recommend you take the following steps at myCalSTRS.com before August 29:
- Confirm your phone number and mailing and email addresses.
- Sign up for direct deposit or make any changes to your existing direct deposit.
- Print payment information and tax-related paperwork, such as 1099-Rs, if you’ll need them in September.
- Make sure your one-time death benefit recipient is current.
When myCalSTRS is available again, you’ll need to reregister and set up two-step authentication.
