myCalSTRS account before August 29
Starting August 29, your myCalSTRS account will have limited services while we prepare to upgrade the portal. Now is the time to check your account information at myCalSTRS.com, make any updates and submit any forms.
Here’s what you need to know:

From September 9–23, myCalSTRS will be unavailable.
- Application processing may take longer than usual and affect the timing of your first benefit payment. We're making every effort to reduce delays.

Retirement Progress Reports will be available in October rather than September this year.
- You'll need to reregister and set up two-step authentication once the improved myCalSTRS is available in the fall.
If you need to make any changes while myCalSTRS is unavailable, such as adding or changing your bank account information, you will need to wait until the portal is live.
