Review Process
CalRecycle has begun its review of CARE’s revised plan amendment to determine if CARE has demonstrated compliance with statutory, regulatory, and plan requirements. CalRecycle's director must approve, conditionally approve, or disapprove CARE's revised plan amendment
CalRecycle is voluntarily holding a comment period to allow for input from interested parties during the document review process. Submit public comments on CARE's revised plan amendment to Carpet@CalRecycle.ca.gov by Monday, August 3, 2026.
Note that under the California Public Records Act (Government Code section 7920.000 et seq.), your written and oral comments, attachments, and associated contact information (e.g., your address, phone, email) become part of the public record and can be released to the public upon request.
