MED-Project Submits Proposed Changes to its Stewardship Plan for Covered Drugs
On March 28, 2025, MED-Project notified CalRecycle of proposed changes to its stewardship plan for covered drugs related to reasonable geographic spread of authorized collection sites. CalRecycle is reviewing the proposal as a significant change,
pursuant to Public Resources Code section 42032(e) and Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations section 18973.1(i).

Public Comments
CalRecycle is voluntarily holding a comment period to allow for input from interested parties and requests that public comments be submitted to pharmasharps@calrecycle.ca.gov by April 21, 2025.
