Reminder: Paint Stewardship Program Economic Data Due by April 11, 2025

CalRecycle seeks your data to inform the economic analysis for upcoming regulations for the California Paint Product Recovery Program (Public Resources Code (PRC) sections 48700 – 48707) in response to Assembly Bill (AB) 1526 (Committee on Natural Resources, Chapter 848, Statutes of 2023) and Senate Bill (SB) 1143 (Allen, Chapter 989, Statutes of 2024). Your participation can help CalRecycle determine the potential regulatory costs of the California Paint Product Recovery Program.

Please submit relevant data to paint@calrecycle.ca.gov by April 11, 2025. To facilitate processing, please include “AB 1526 and SB 1143 Paint Stewardship Data Needs” in the subject line.
