Notice of Paint Stewardship Informal Workshop
The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) will hold an informal public workshop on March 3, 2025, to present an overview of the California Paint Product Recovery Program (Public Resources Code sections 48700-48707) and the changes made by Assembly Bill 1526 (Committee on Natural Resources, Chapter 848, Statutes of 2023) and Senate Bill 1143 (Allen, Chapter 989, Statutes of 2024).
CalRecycle will also introduce draft regulatory concepts and solicit comments from the public, regulated community, and other interested parties as staff begin to draft regulatory language.
