Reminder: Upcoming SB 54 CEQA Public Comment Meeting

The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle), as the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) lead agency, has released a Draft Program Environmental Impact Report (PEIR) for the Statewide Adoption of Regulations for the Plastic Pollution Prevention and Packaging Producer Responsibility Act (SB 54, Allen, Chapter 75, Statutes of 2022).
CalRecycle will hold a hearing on November 19, 2024, at 1:00 PM to discuss the Draft PEIR and receive comments.
