The Mattress Recycling Council seeks innovative ways to combat illegal dumping of mattresses, box springs and futons serving as prevention and eradication program models.

The IDTAC strategy to help combat illegal dumping is “PACE” Prevention, Abatement, Cleanup, Enforcement. Sometimes referred to as “PACE(O)” to incorporate the outreach/education component. 3E’s Strategy also recognized.
